USADA Update: there’s been a change at the top of the table for ‘Most Tested Fighter In 2017‘ this week and surprisingly it’s Tecia Torres who’s provided USADA with the most samples.

According to the data collected by Twitter user @Dimspace (who’s collected weekly database from the USADA database since testing began!), Torres provided 2 random samples in the latest round of testing (likely one blood and one urine test).

This moved the #5 ranked UFC strawweight’s 2017 total to 10 samples, which took her above second placed fighters Vitor Belfort (9) and Yoel Romero (9).

Claudia Gadelha, the #1 ranked UFC strawweight is the closest women to Torres having provided 8 samples this year. Holly Holm is currently the most tested UFC women’s bantamweight having also supplied 8 samples.

Despite Torres taking topping the table for most samples in 2017, Belfort still remains the most test athlete since testing began back in July 2015.

Still No Sign Of Brock Lesnar

Also worth noting this week is that we’ve still yet to see any evidence that Brock Lesnar has entered back into the testing pool. There have been rumours recently that a potential super fight with Jon Jones could be on the horizon, but reports that Lesnar had re-entered the testing pool were dismissed by UFC vice president of athlete health and performance Jeff Novitzky.
