UFC lightweight Teruto Ishihara has lost two fights on the bounce, but he’s been given one last chance to prove his worth on the UFC fight card taking place in Japan at the Saitama Super Arena on September 23.
Ishihara will take on Rolando Dy (8-5-0 1NC) who made his UFC debut back in June when he filled in as a last minute replacement to take on Alex Caceres on the UFC Fight Night 111 fight card which took place in Singapore.

The Team Alpha Male man, Ishihara (9-4-2), is currently riding a two fight losing streak having lost both to Artem Lobov last November, and more recently Gray Maynard who defeated at the The Ultimate Fighter Season 25 Finale during International Fight Week.
Prior to those losses, Ishihara had gone 2-0-1 in the UFC with wins over Julian Erosa and Horacio Gutierrez at. The Japanese fighter will now look to get back to winning ways in his own home country when he faces Dy who hails from the Philippines.
Also on the card, Ovince Saint Preux will take on Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in the main event, while Claudia Gadelha and Jessica Andrade will battle it out a women’s strawweight division co-main event.
