Earlier this evening, Akhmat MMA Fight Club released on their VK.com page that undefeated Russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev will take on Scottish fighter, Paul Craig. MMAUNO.com has since confirmed the bout via our own sources close to both camps.

Ankalaev (10-0) is 25 years-old and has fought predominantly in Russia since his professional debut in 2014. Fighting under the Akhmat Fight Show banner, Ankalaev has a record of 3-0 and won a light heavyweight tournament defeating Lloyd Marshbanks, Artur Astakhov and Maxim Grishin in the final. He has fought two times since then defeating the Brazilians Wagner Prado and Celso Ricardo da Silva under the WFCA banner last month.

Paul Craig (9-2) is 29-years-old and is a three-fight veteran of the UFC. The Scot is currently riding a two-fight losing streak havings suffered back-to-back losses to Tyson Pedros and Khalil Rountree, but next year he will get the opportunity to get back to winning ways when he faces the undefeated Russian in England.
