Luke Rockhold returned with a point to prove last evening and unfortunately, David Branch was on the receiving end of his vengeance.

Branch started the fight well and brought the fight to the former UFC champion in the first round, but in the second round, Rockhold had clearly found his groove and it all went downhill rather quickly for Branch.

Rockhold got full mount quickly and proceeded to take Branch’s back with some slick transitioning. From there, he poured it on with ground and pound and after 40 or so unanswered strikes Branch tapped the mat and said he’d had enough.
