After seeing his scheduled fight with Walt Harris fall through at the eleventh hour last evening at UFC 216, former BAMMA heavyweight champion Mark Godbeer has moved to call out a man he was supposed to face earlier this year — Todd Duffee.
Taking to social media this afternoon, Godbeer didn’t mince his words and challenged the American to fight him in December:
Godbeer was expected to face Duffee back in March at UFC 209. However, the American pulled out of the fight in mid-February for undisclosed reasons.
The Brit is seemingly now interested to get the fight rebooked for a fight card at the end of the year. Godbeer informed MMAUNO.com last evening that he was compensated his full purse (show and win) for his troubles last evening.
It’s not all eyes on the UFC and Sean Shelby to see if he grants Godbeer his wish.
