Seven big fights have been announce for the UFC 216 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 7 and it will see the return three fan favourite lightweights, Lando Vannata, Will Brooks and Beneil Dariush.

Vannata will take on Abel Trujillo and will be returning to the Octagon for the first time since his loss to David Teymur at UFC 209 in March this year. Trujillo will also be looking to bounce back from a defeat having been beaten by James Vick back in February.

Beneil Dariush will also be a man making a return following his loss to Edson Barboza back in March. He will take on Evan Dunham who is currently riding a four fight win streak having picked up his last win over Rick Glenn back in September 2016.

The third lightweight announced for the card sees Will Brooks takes on Nik Lentz. Brooks, a former 15-pounds Bellator champion is currently on a losing streak of two have suffered losses to Alex Oliveira and Charles Oliveira. He will take on Lentz who was last seen back at UFC 208 when he was defeated by Islam Makhachev in Brooklyn.

Four other fights were added to the card with Thales Leites taking on Brad Tavares at middleweight, John Moraga vs. Magomed Bibulatov and Matt Schnell vs. Marco Beltran in flyweight action, and lastly Walt Harris facing Mark Godbeer in the heavyweight division.

The fight card will take place at the T-Mobile Arena and the Las Vegas Review Journal earlier today announced the following bouts:

Abel Trujillo vs. Lando Vannata – 155lbs
Beneil Dariush vs. Evan Dunham – 155lbs
Will Brooks vs. Nik Lentz, – 155lbs
Thales Leites vs. Brad Tavares – 185lbs
John Moraga vs. Magomed Bibulatov – 125lbs
Matt Schnell vs. Marco Beltran – 125lbs
Walt Harris vs. Mark Godbeer – 265lbs
