Germaine de Randamie x Marion Reneau… first it was on, then it was off, now it might be on again.
De Randamie and Reneau were supposed to meet this past weekend at UFC Fight Night 115 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Unfortunately, de Randamie was forced to pull out of the bout due to her lingering hand injury, much to the disappointment of the Dutch fans who were looking forward to seeing the former UFC women’s featherweight champion compete.
Reneau went on to beat last minute replacement Talita de Oliveira via TKO in the final seconds of the third round.
The American then spoke to Fox Sports Netherlands after the fight and revealed that she and de Randamie had met backstage and that she’d challenged her to a fight on US soil.

“Funny story, she came in the back and she apologized,” Reneau said. “She’s going to get surgery and she said maybe we can do this again. I said no problem, in the States. You come to me this time.”
The Fox Sports Netherlands broadcast then switched back to de Randamie in the studio where she accepted the challenge and confirmed that she is willing to go and fight Reneau in America.
BTW, Reneau told FOX Sports NL she's still open for a fight with De Randamie, but only in the US.

De Randamie also added that she would like to fight in Rotterdam in 2018 to make it up to the disappointed fans that didn’t get to see her fight on Saturday night.
