Just when you thought it was said and done, UFC Glasgow on July 16 gets a late addition.

Sources close to MMAUno.com have revealed that Scotland’s own Danny Henry will meet another fighter making his UFC debut, Swedish fighter, Daniel Teymur.

**Update 16:53pm BST ** — The fight will take place at 155lbs

Henry (10-2) made his name in the South African promotion EFC where he reigned there as their featherweight champion on two separate occasions. Henry is currently on a run of three wins having picked up victories against Barend Nienaber, Wade Groth and Igeu Kabesa in March to reclaim his EFC featherweight title. Henry has long been campaigning for a shot on the UFC Glasgow card and he now gets his wish to walk out in front his home fans at the SSE Hydro in July 16.

Teymur (6-0) is not a man to be looked over through and he will present stiff opposition for the Scot. Daniel’s brother David currently competes in the UFC lightweight division and Daniel holds an unblemished record of six wins that have all come inside the distance. The Swede last fought back in December 2016 under the Battle of Botnia 2016 promotional banner where he defeated another previously undefeated fighter, Manolo Scianna, inside the first round.
