It was all going so smoothly, but there’s been a late and significant change to Combate Americas’ Combate Clásico event which takes place in Miami, Florida tomorrow evening.

A fight between Tommy Aaron (4-2) and Javier Fuentes (9-5) was originally scheduled to headline the card, but it was revealed today that there was a late complication with Fuentes’ visa and the bout was subsequently scrapped from the fight card.

Ricky Palacios vs. Chris Avila will now headline Combate Clásico and the fight is pencilled in to take place at 10:30 p.m. E.T. on Venezuelan TV, ESPN Latam and ESPN 3.

The co-main event remains as the atomweight bout between bitter rivals Kyra Batara and Vanesa Rico.

Weigh-ins are scheduled to take place at 4:00 p.m. E.T. and can be viewed on the MMA.UNO Facebook page HERE.
