Zahabi made his UFC debut against Reinaldo Viera in February, winning by unanimous decision. This was the first time that Viera had gone past the first round having previously finished all of his fights inside the first five-minutes.
Ramos is also coming off a unanimous decision win on his UFC debut. He beat Michinori Tanaka at UFC Fight Night 104 in February and has 8 of his 10 victories via finishes with 6 submissions and 2 KO. He currently holds a 10-1 professional MMA record.
UFC 217 will serve as the return of longtime welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre who will face current middleweight champion, Michael Bisping. This event will mark just the second time the UFC has held an event in Madison Square Garden.
